Whalen House is located in the village of Canton within walking distance to St. Lawrence University and the many restaurants and shops of our historic downtown. It is a 5-10 minute drive across town to SUNY-Canton. Clarkson University and SUNY Potsdam are also within an easy driving distance of about 20 minutes.
Your hostess, Mary Jo Whalen, is a St. Lawrence University graduate, a retired teacher and active outdoors woman. The grounds of this historic home include a large yard and in season, you can stroll through Mary's lovely gardens.
Please call should you need more sleeping room, we can usually accommodate a few more. Pets are welcome at the discretion of the hostess. We thank our guests for the courtesy of not smoking in our home.
